Welcome Teachers, Youth Leaders, and Parents!

Are you looking for a field trip for your students or an outdoor adventure for your child?
The Colorado Mountain Club's Youth Education Program provides opportunities for youth to learn about and explore the outdoors through hands-on activities in your classroom, at the American Mountaineering Center, or in local open space parks. Our classes and courses are organized to meet the needs of teachers and individuals.

We are located in downtown Golden inside the American Mountaineering Center (AMC) at 710 10th Street Golden, Colorado 80401. Directions to the AMC

All field trips and outreach classes are correlated to the Colorado Department of Education Model Content Standards or can be designed to meet Scout Badge requirements.

Mountaineering Museum (BWAMM)

Now scheduling group tours and classes for schools and youth groups! BWAMM is located within the American Mountaineering Center. Groups can add on a museum tour to any YEP field trip.
