For your benefit and enjoyment, the following trips have been reviewed and approved by the Adventure Travel Committee and are officially sanctioned by the Colorado Mountain Club.

01/31/09 Day Hiking In Tasmania
  Welcome to the world of wallabies and wombats! We will explore the unique island of Tasmania, Australia’s island state, in this all new trip. Tasmania was the last land mass to break off from Antarctica and things there are truly different.
02/04/09 Yellowstone In Winter Feb 2009
  Steaming geysers, bison, elk, deer, wolves, and other wildlife are all part of the experience of visiting Yellowstone National Park in the winter.
02/07/09 TRIP FULL - Kilimanjaro 19,340'
  We're back with the 7th Kilimanjaro trip sponsored by the Club's High Altitude Mountaineering Section. Kili is the world's largest free-standing mountain and is one of the fabled Seven Summits.
04/20/09 Hike with Llamas in Escalante National Monument, Utah
  The trip will include 5 days of hiking in the mid to upper regions of the Escalante River and it's canyons. Spring is a beautiful time to visit the canyons and we expect to see a colorful variety of wildflowers.
04/25/09 Best of the Grand Canyon - Colorado River Raft & Hike
  Take a motorized raft trip and add 5 extra days for hiking along the way. This 12 day trip ends with a helicopter ride out of the canyon and a plane flight back to the put-in.
05/23/09 The Heart of Europe: From Prague to National Parks of Czech Republic
  This trip is for those who would like to explore nature, culture and history in a tiny country located in the center of Europe. As a native from this country, I selected a variety of attractive destinations and hikes in different National Parks.
05/28/09 Moab Mountain Bike & Hike Adventure
  You will base camp near Moab, Utah and explore the famous mountain biking and hiking trails in the Moab area, including Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
06/08/09 Montenegro with Rada
  Rada Perovic, a resident of Golden, but native of Montenegro, will be your hostess for a two week excursion to this unspoiled Mediterranean and Mountain paradise.
06/17/09 Bolivia Trekking & Climbing June 2009
  Here is your chance to both climb and trek in the magnificent mountains of western Bolivia. We begin with a three day trek over several 14,000' and 15,000' passes as we get adjusted to the high altitude of the Bolivian Altiplano.
06/28/09 American Basin Area Hiking
  This year we will offer two weeks of this popular base camping trip!! Set up your tent in the awesome San Juan mountains, near American Basin, at the site of The Colorado Trail Foundation cabin.
08/17/09 Llama Trek in the Wind Rivers
  The Wind River range is one of the oldest on earth, filled with cathedral-like glacially carved granite mountains. We will hike trails to many lakes on this five day llama-supported trek.
09/26/09 Annapurna Sanctuary Trek
  Annapurna Sanctuary, a shimmering mountain ringed glacier basin in the heart of the Annapurna Himal, is one of the most intensely scenic short treks in Nepal, offering great cultural and geographical diversity as well as outstanding mountain views.
